Side Hustle Expo

Side Hustle 5.0: Show off your hustle. Win big. Be discovered!

Your hustle deserves the spotlight. The Center for Entrepreneurship and Community Development (CECD) invites you to the Side Hustle Expo 5.0, a showcase of student creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial fun! Whether your side hustle is a budding business, a passion project, or just something that makes you extra cash, this is your moment to shine.

We've had it all – music producers, artists, babysitters, sneaker resellers, handbag designers, beauty brands, reptile breeders (yes, really! 🦎). Just when we think we've seen it all, students surprise us with something new. That's where you come in – apply now and show us your hustle!

What do you need to do to show off your Side Hustle?

  • Get a tri-fold presentation board (provided by the Center for Entrepreneurship) and add the following information:
    • Your name + your business name (or whatever it is that you call your Side Hustle)
    • Your university classification (undergrad or graduate student)
    • A description of what product or service you offer
    • A description of your customers
    • How do you currently or do you expect to connect with clients?
    • How much of your product or service have you sold so far (dollars or volume)? (it's ok if you have just started and haven't sold yet)
    • What are your goals for the next 12 months?
    • How do you plan to meet these goals?
    • What kind of support do you need to make those goals a reality?
    • Lots of pictures
  • Have business cards, or a QR Code so people can find you after the Expo
