By Loyola University on Tue, 10/01/2024 - 08:47

Brenna Kane is a double alum of Loyola University New Orleans, earning her undergraduate degree in 2010 and her MBA in 2018, and she's no stranger to the entrepreneurship ecosystem here in New Orleans (and beyond). Brenna has spent time working as a consultant and in several roles that have supported the incredible startup community in our region, and now she is utilizing all of her experience in the field to create her own company, RITUALI.

RITUALI is a holistic wellness platform that provides personalized matching to a curated network of high-quality practitioners. RITUALI Practitioners offer both in-person and virtual sessions, tailored to your preferences and needs. Currently, in-person services are exclusively available to members in the Greater New Orleans area, but Brenna plans to expand the reach of the platform in the near future.

In September, Brenna's pitch at Wolf Pack LaunchU for RITUALI earned her $12,000 in non-dilutive funding, the largest prize awarded in the three-year history of the program. Learn more about Brenna's experience below, and make sure to follow RITUALI on Instagram!

What was the highlight of the Wolf Pack LaunchU experience for you?
One of the biggest highlights of the Wolf Pack LaunchU experience was connecting with an incredible group of entrepreneurs. The Loyola community is so supportive, and the mentorship received was invaluable. It was a great opportunity to share our vision for RITUALI, receive feedback from experts, and refine our pitch. The support and encouragement from both the mentors and fellow participants made it a great experience.

What are your plans with the prize money you received
We plan to use the prize money to accelerate our product development and enhance our marketing efforts. This funding will help us bring on additional design and development resources to build out our platform faster. We also want to invest in building our brand presence to attract both consumers and top-tier practitioners to our platform.

What advice would you give to an aspiring LOYNO entrepreneur?
My biggest piece of advice is to be insanely passionate about the problem you want to solve in the world. Entrepreneurship is a challenging journey, and that passion will be what drives you through the tough times. I love the quote, "Be stubborn with your vision but be flexible with your plan." Your vision should be unwavering, but how you get there may need to adapt and change as you learn and grow.

Lean into the community around you - seek feedback, ask for help, and be open to learning from others. Surround yourself with people who challenge and inspire you, and remember that the journey is all about growth, resilience, and persistence. Embrace the process, and don't be afraid to fail forward.
